Itinerary
This five-day Trans-Dolomites mountain bike tour links Selva di Val Gardena to Cortina d’Ampezzo through the most iconic and scenic sections of the Dolomites.
You’ll ride a mix of singletrack, alpine trails, and lift-assisted climbs, staying in authentic hotels and mountain huts.
Each day offers unique views, culture, and terrain—from the Sella peaks to the Marmolada and the legendary Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Day 1 – Selva di Val Gardena | Warm-Up & Orientation Ride
Arrival and warm-up ride around the Val Gardena trails. Test your setup, get used to the terrain, and enjoy your first flowy singletracks surrounded by the Sella and Sassolungo peaks. Evening briefing, dinner, and overnight in Selva.
Day 2 – Selva to Canazei | Crossing the Sella Massif
Ride across the heart of the Dolomites through lift-accessed passes and alpine descents into the Fassa Valley. The route mixes technical sections and panoramic trails, ending in Canazei. Enjoy a relaxed evening with mountain views and regional cuisine.
Day 3 – Canazei to Marmolada Hut | High Alpine Adventure
Climb and traverse towards the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites. Stay in an alpine hut facing the glacier for an unforgettable night under the stars. Expect remote trails, rugged terrain, and pure alpine atmosphere.
Day 4 – Marmolada to Alleghe | Flow and Forests
Descend towards Alleghe on a mix of natural trails and forest paths, with views of the Civetta and Pelmo peaks. Optional lift sections make the day accessible and fun. Overnight by the lake in Alleghe with a great local dinner.
Day 5 – Alleghe to Cortina d’Ampezzo | The Finale & Tre Cime Views
The final ride crosses the high passes toward Cortina, combining flowy traverses, technical segments, and views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Celebrate your arrival with a drink in Italy’s most famous mountain town—mission accomplished.
